Meet the WHP Teachers

Leslie Hedenberg, Preschool Director, Lead Teacher in Rectangle Room

Leslie has been a member of the Webster Hills Preschool teaching team since 2014 and has had the privilege of teaching students at every age level within the building before stepping into the role of Preschool Director. Leslie has a Master's degree in Elementary Education and has a passion for fostering literacy development in young learners. Her favorite part of early childhood education is the joy she feels on a daily basis. It’s almost impossible to be unhappy when spending the day with young children!

Patty Crotty, Heart Room teacher

Patty has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, a Master’s degree in Education/ Montessori with Montessori certification for three to five year olds. Patty has been in Education for over thirty years as a Montessori Directress, an Administrator, and a high school teacher and guidance counselor. She has been at Webster Hills for the past year and a half. Her favorite thing about teaching early childhood is witnessing and being part of the wonder and joy that children have in learning new skills, their joy of life, and the opportunity to see so much growth and development in a short period of time.

Lauren Faber, Heart Room teacher

Lauren has been teaching at Webster Hills Preschool for the past few years after being a preschool parent here. She has past experience as a pediatric nurse. Lauren teaches in our Heart Room and also teaches our additional care options of Lunch Bunch and Fun on Friday.

Claire Meyerkord, Star Room teacher

Claire joined the Webster Hills Preschool Teaching Team in 2025. She began as a frequent classroom substitute teacher before becoming the Oval Room teacher in January of 2026. Claire attended the College of Coastal Georgia. She has been teaching Godly play to preschool ages at The Church of St. Michael and St. George for the past six years. Claire says teaching preschool is so rewarding as little ones learn about the world around them.

Kate Willick, Circle Room teacher

Webster Hills Preschool has always been a special place for Kate. She went to preschool here and her mom taught in the program for many years. Kate is a proud Mizzou grad. This is her fourth year teaching at Webster Hills, having taught in both the rectangle and Square Rooms and moving to the Circle Room for the 2026- 2027 school year. Kate’s favorite part of early childhood education is watching children grow in confidence as they try new things.

Carolyn Feeley, Circle Room teacher

Carolyn has a Master’s degree in Counseling. She has loved working for Webster Hills for the past seven years. She has been a substitute, a classroom aide, and an assistant teacher. Her son also attended Webster Hills Preschool. Carolyn most enjoys watching the children learn so many new things and seeing their personalities unfold throughout the school year.

Annie Ketterer, Lead Teacher, Triangle Room

Annie has been a part of the Webster Hills Preschool teaching team for the past nine years. She has worked with all of the age groups in the building! She most loves teaching threes and fours because she believes this is one of the most magical times of childhood! The children love to explore and imagine and be silly and Annie loves getting to help them do all of these things!

Allison Aardsma, Teacher, Triangle Room

Allison graduated from Stephen’s College with a degree in Marketing and spent nearly two decades working in the corporate world. She then shifted her focus to community and found her way to Webster Hills in 2023. Allison teaches in our threes and fours classroom, where she says it is a true privilege to be a part of this village to help children explore and grow. 

Meghan Murphey, Lead teacher, Square Room

Meghan Murphey has been working at Webster Hills Preschool for 11 years. She has worked as an all-school aide, 3/4’s teacher assistant, and 4/5’s teacher assistant. Her background in Occupational Therapy carries over into the classroom by helping students with fine motor/gross motor skills and increasing independence in everyday life skills. Meghan’s favorite part of working at Webster Hills is watching the children grow from the beginning of the school year to the end in preparation for kindergarten.

Amy Musgraves, All- school aide, Music and Movement Teacher

Amy graduated with a BA in Elementary Education from Drury. She taught first and second grade for a few years before taking time away to start her family. She has been at Webster Hills Preschool for twenty years, teaching in various classrooms and serving as Director before stepping back into the classroom in 2025. Amy’s favorite part of teaching young children is getting to witness them doing new things for the first time.

Peggy Knock, Science and Nature teacher

Peggy Knock is an early childhood educator with 36 years of experience in the classroom. She is passionate about teaching children and nurturing their love of nature. Her work reflects a deep commitment to helping children thrive in a caring and engaging environment.
